.com domain name price increase notice: Global .com domain name registration prices will increase on September 1

First, let’s take a look at the notice from Western Electronics, a domain name registrar in mainland China:

Received a notice from the .COM Domain Name Registry (verisign) confirming the price increase. The content of the notice is as follows:

Price increase time: 12:00 on September 1, 2021, Beijing time;

Price increase scope: new registration, renewal, and transfer of registrars;

Price increase amount: $0.54 increase.

The new registration, renewal, transfer and renewal costs for .COM domain name registrars will increase from $8.03 to $8.57.
