NameCheap opens preemptive registration for .gay domain names on September 8th

The .gay domain name should have been submitted to ICANN as early as 2011. A team submitted an application to add the .gay domain name suffix, but the application was not approved. It was not until February 2020 that the application was approved, and the .gay domain name entered the Sunrise Period, during which only registered trademark holders could register. NameCheap has obtained the qualification for Early Access registration of .gay domain names. It will support .gay domain name registration starting from September 8.
