1. Create a new VPS

We open the vultr official website: www.vultr.com

After logging in, click the + icon in the upper right corner to create a new VPS.

VPS recommendation: The data center recommends choosing Los Angeles, Tokyo and Singapore routes around the United States; the system recommends centos7. If you want more stability, it is recommended to choose a VPS with a monthly payment of 5 dollars. If you don’t have much money, you can choose a 3.5 dollar one. . Because as we said above, unlike the Jieqi program that requires hundreds of gigabytes of space, it only requires about 20 gigabytes.

After completing the selection, click Deploy Now below and wait for the machine configuration to be completed, which is estimated to take five minutes.

After completion, click server in the left menu to see your newly created VPS. Clicking on the name will jump to the interface showing machine information

2. Environment and domain name configuration

Configuration environment, the environment required by ptcms: nginx+php5.6+mysql5+Memcache, the configuration diagram is as follows, click one-click installation and wait for the installation to complete. During this period, you can resolve the domain name, because domain name resolution results also take time.

5. Domain name resolution. You need a domain name to build this novel site. I use the second-level domain name of 6 Blogs for resolution. My domain name is placed in Alibaba Cloud. The resolution effect is relatively fast, xs.kxceping .com

6. Create a new website. After the environment installation is completed, let’s create a new website.

7. Upload the file, find the directory where you just created the website, click the file on the left menu, the directory you just created will be displayed, click Go to upload the file, and decompress it online.
