The version of WordPress is updated so fast. WordPress 5.0 came out in the blink of an eye. When I was blogging this morning, I saw a message on the side of the dashboard saying "WordPress 5.0 is now available! Please update now.", and then I started. I clicked on it. After the update was completed, I started writing articles. It turned out that I couldn’t use the updated editor. I didn’t feel comfortable with the new Gutenberg article editor because I had an old version of the editor. There are a lot of shortcodes integrated into it, so I thought about switching back to the old version of the editor. It turns out that there is a plug-in that allows two editors to exist at the same time. I will share the method below.
After installing 5.0, this editor is displayed. This editor is called Gutenberg. It was a plug-in that existed before. The new version is directly integrated into the system.
The blogger is really not used to it at all!
There are several ways to change to the original editor.
1. Search for the Classic Editor plug-in, install it and enable it directly.
2. Search for the Disable Gutenberg plug-in, install it and enable it directly,
After installation, the editor we are familiar with is back, haha!
