ResilioSync: Tutorial on setting up a public and private synchronization disk

A brief comparison between ResilioSync and Syncthing, or the differences, are mainly in the following aspects:

1.ResilioSync can share resources publicly or privately, while Syncthing can only be shared privately.

2.ResilioSync is not open source but has a free version. The free version limits some functions. Syncthing is completely open source and 100% free.

The installation of ResilioSync is also very simple, and the official binary file is also provided:

Create systemd service file:

Because the default listening port of ResilioSync is 8888, which conflicts with the Pagoda panel, so here I set the listening port of ResilioSync to 5562. Of course, you can also change it to other ports.

Start ResilioSync:

systemctl start rslsync

Set up startup:

systemctl enable rslsync

The design of ResilioSync in the WEBUI is relatively user-friendly. When you first visit, you will be prompted to set a management account password: Then set up your sync username and accept the software’s terms of service: The software defaults to an English interface. You can change it to Chinese here.
