Use the ByeTyp plug-in to migrate Typecho article content to wordpress graphic tutorial

The typecho plug-in ByeTyp can migrate typecho data to the WordPress program, supporting articles, single pages, categories, tags, comments and other data, almost achieving seamless migration of typecho data. Supports migration to WordPress 5.0+ version. Blog Bar tested and successfully migrated typecho 1.1 official version data to WordPress 5.4.

Plug-in usage tutorial:

1. Download the plug-in: Github

2. After unzipping, rename the folder to ByeTyp, and then upload it to the usr/plugins/ directory of typecho

3. Enable the plug-in in "Backstage - Console - Plug-in", and then export the xml file in "Console - Data Export"

4. Enter the WordPress website backend and install the WordPress importer in Tools - Import

5. After successful installation, run the importer

6. Select the xml file you just exported and click the "Upload file and import" button

7. Select the user and click "Import"

8. Copy all files in usr/uploads/ of typecho to wp-content/uploads/ of wordpress

9. Enter phpmyadmin of wordpress and execute the SQL statement

UPDATE wp_posts SET post_content =REPLACE( post_content,'/usr/uploads/','/wp-content/uploads/');

After successful execution, data migration is completed.
