This site has introduced and evaluated the Japanese data center in detail before. Generally speaking, it is very suitable for China Unicom users: low latency, 0 packet loss, and fast speed. However, some friends launched Japanese nodes at Bricklayer. I previously purchased the CN2 GIA-E package for Bricklayer, so I needed to manually migrate it to the Japanese data center. This article shares a detailed tutorial.
1. Related introduction

Only the Bricklayer Japan data center can be used with the Bricklayer CN2 GIA-E package. Other plans cannot be replaced with the Bricklayer Japan node.
2. Tutorial on using Japanese data center for bricklayers
1. Choose a Japanese data center when purchasing a new product
If you have not purchased the Brickworker VPS, then you only need to select the Brickworker CN2 GIA-E package and switch the Location to JP – Equinix Osaka Softbank (JPOS_1), and the Brickworker Japan data center will be selected by default.

2. Change from console to Japanese data center
If you have purchased the CN2 GIA-E package of Bricklayer before, but did not choose the Japanese data center of Bricklayer, you can manually switch to the Japanese data center of Bricklayer on the KiwiVM console. Today, we will give a detailed introduction on how to change the Bricklayer CN2 GIA-E package to a Japanese data center.
1. Choose the CN2 GIA-E package for bricklayers
Open the KiwiVM official website (click to go directly), select My Services, note that only the KiwiVM Japan data center can be used with the CN2 GIA-E package, that is, the package ending with CN2 GIA ECOMMERCE, enter the KiwiVM control panel:

The Migrate to another DC on the left is the function of changing the data center. We select "Japan: Osaka (Softbank) [JPOS_1]" as the target data center, and then confirm the migration data center:
3. Points of note when using Japanese data centers
The operation of changing the data center only changes the location of the data center and the IP, but all other data is there, so you don't need to worry about data loss. In addition, the operation of changing the data center is completely free and there is no limit on the number of times. So if we find that it is not suitable for us when using the Japanese data center of Bricklayer, we can also switch back to the DC6 CN2 GIA data center of Bricklayer.
Generally, it is only recommended that China Unicom users choose the Brickman Japan Data Center.
