The Brickman VNC function allows us to remotely connect to the Brickman VPS directly through a browser. If we do not have an SSH client installed locally, or cannot connect to the Brickman VPS via SSH for some reason, the VNC function will be very useful. This article introduces the tutorial on how to use the VNC function of Brickworker and how to connect to the VPS of Bricklayer remotely online.

1. VNC tutorial for moving bricklayers

VNC is the abbreviation of Virtual Network Console. The Chinese translation is virtual network console, and it is also a tool/method for remote connection to VPS. The VNC function allows us to remotely connect to the VPS on the browser.

Step 1: Log in to the KiwiVM control panel

When we use the KiwiVM VNC function, we must first log in to the KiwiVM control panel, open the official website of KiwiVM, click "My Services" in "Services", and click the "KiwiVM Control Panel" button behind each instance. , you can directly enter the KiwiVM control panel of the VPS:

Step 2: Open the Bricklayer VNC function

After entering the KiwiVM control panel, click the "Root shell – interactice" option on the left. This is an interactive shell that can control the VPS like the PuTTY client. It only needs to be used in a browser that supports HTML5 This function is enough. Click "Lauch" to open the Bricklayer VNC page:

Step 3: Remotely connect to the Bricklayer VPS

After that, you need to enter the username and password of your VPS. The default username is root, and the password (Password) will be sent to your email. Please check the tutorial for details: "How to check the SSH connection information of the VPS after purchasing the VPS?" IP, port, root password, etc." When you enter the password here, it will not be displayed and cannot be copied. Just press Enter to confirm after entering it. As shown in the figure below, it means you have successfully connected to the Bricklayer VPS remotely:

2. Points to note when using VNC for bricklayers

Generally speaking, it is recommended that you connect to the VPS through a local client, which is more convenient, such as Xshell, PuTTY, etc. on Windows. On Mac, you can implement remote SSH directly through the terminal or iTerm. About the download and use of Xshell : "Xshell tutorial: Use Xshell to connect to Linux"

The Brickworker VNC function is very useful when we cannot connect to the Brickworker VPS locally. For example, we can check the progress through VNC when DD Windows, or for some reason, the IP of the Brickworker VPS cannot be accessed in mainland China. If Bricklayer cannot connect via SSH, you can also connect to Bricklayer through VNC.
