Private network configuration tutorial: Establish a local area network and transmit data without traffic

Bricklayer provides an intranet function (Private network). Through this function, we can apply for an intranet IP and establish a LAN with different Bricklayer VPS. All VPS in the same LAN can transmit data without traffic. And data transfer speed is faster. Today, this site will introduce how to apply for the intranet IP of Bricklayer and the configuration tutorial of Bricklayer LAN.

1. Introduction to the functions of Brickworker’s intranet

The internal network function of Mobwok (Private netwrok) is a unique function opened by Mobwok for some advanced plans. The Mobwok solution packages that can apply for intranet IP include:

• All tile movers CN2 GIA-E solution (CN2 GIA ECOMMERCE) (the intranet segment is 10.62.12.0/26, the available private IP range is from 10.62.12.2 to 10.62.15.254)
• All Bricklayer Hong Kong solutions (the intranet segment is 10.18.12.0/26, the available private IP range is from 10.18.12.2 to 10.18.15.254)
• Bricklayer KVM solution above 80GB
• Moving bricklayer CN2 plan above 80GB

What is the use of the intranet function of Bricklayer? We configure multiple Bricklayer VPS in the same LAN through the intranet, which can realize: different Bricklayer VPS in the same Data Center can be connected through the intranet, realizing data transmission without traffic and faster.

2. Tutorial on applying for intranet IP for Bricklayer

First log in to the KiwiVM console, open the KiwiVM official website, click "My Services" in "Services", and then click the "KiwiVM Control Panel" button behind each instance to directly enter the KiwiVM of the VPS Control Panel:

Stop the VPS (stop) on the homepage of the KiwiVM control panel:

Click "Private network" on the left. If your brick-moving solution supports the intranet function, then this page will display all available intranet IP addresses. Select the intranet IP address you like and click "Activate" Private IP address":

If your solution does not support the intranet function, it will display that the function is not available, as shown in the figure below. The specific solutions that can use the internal network function of Bricklayer have been introduced in the first part.

3. Tutorial on LAN configuration for bricklayers

After opening the internal network IP of Brickworker, you need to configure it. However, after applying on this site before, you can directly use the LAN of Brickworker. You can first try to see if it can be used according to the steps in step 4. If it does not work, try again. Follow the tutorial below to configure the intranet.

1) The system is Debian and Ubuntu

Add the following two lines to the file /etc/network/interfaces:

autoeth1 iface eth1 inet dhcp

The modified files are as follows:

auto lo iface lo inet loopback autoeth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp autoeth1 iface eth1 inet dhcp

Save the file to make the settings take effect:

# sudo ifup eth1

2) The system is CentOS

Create a new file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 and add the following content:

DEVICE=eth1 TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=dhcp ONBOOT=yes DEFROUTE=no

Save the file to make the settings take effect:

# sudo ifup eth1

These settings are permanent and remain effective after restarting the VPS.

4. Tutorial on how to use LAN for bricklayers

After applying for and configuring the intranet IP of Bricklayer, we can use the ifconfig command to check the intranet IP address of Bricklayer, as shown in the figure below, 10.91.12.65 is the intranet address of Bricklayer:

After completing the LAN configuration of the tile mover, we can directly use the intranet IP for access (needs to be in the same data center), which is faster and does not consume traffic for data transmission:
