1. Points to note when opening the Tencent Cloud.cn domain name

Tencent Cloud's privacy protection for .cn domain names should be a new free feature in August today. However, since Tencent Cloud has its own registrar, .cn (including provincial and municipal .cn domain names), .China domain names Privacy protection is only effective for domain names registered with Tencent Cloud's own registrar qualifications (i.e. Yantai Dispu Network Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Yunxun Information Technology Co., Ltd., Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd.), and Xinnet electronically qualified domain names Operation application is currently not supported.

First open the Tencent Cloud official website, enter the domain name console, click "Manage" behind the .cn domain name that needs to enable domain name privacy protection to enter the domain name management page:

After arriving at the domain name management page, select the "Domain Name Security" option. If the domain name is registered on Xinnet, there will be no "Privacy Protection" option here:

Note: Upgrading the registrar is equivalent to switching from Xinnet to Tencent Cloud, so you need to wait 5-7 days to complete.

After successfully transferring to Tencent Cloud, you can see "Privacy Protection" under "Domain Name Security" and turn it on:
