Tutorial for beginners: Install AMH5.x series and create a website (graphic introduction)

As a VPS novice, this post is intended to help fellow novices how to use the AMH5.0 panel to build a website. Since I am also a novice, except for the panel installation process, the rest are introduced through screenshots on the WEB side of the AMH5.0 panel.

Before building a website, you need to prepare:

1. Read the first four posts

2. Download the DZ program you want

3. Prepare a PC-side FTP software, such as FileZilla

1. Create [WEB operating environment]

Take LNMP as an example, install LNMP in the [Environment Software] tab,

Click [Create Environment] and select the Nginx, MySQL and PHP versions you need,

Create a new LNMP [WEB operating environment]

2. Create [Rewrite] rules

Find the [amrewrite] software in the [Application Software Options] tab,

Add built-in discuz Rewrite rules for the LNMP [WEB operating environment] just created~

3. Create [Virtual Host]

Add a [Virtual Host] to the LNMP [WEB Runtime Environment] just created

As shown above, enter the primary identification domain name and the domain name you need to bind

Then select discuzx.conf in the Rewrite rule

Click Save to complete the creation.

4. Resolve the domain name to the IP of the VPS

Everyone should know this step, so skip it...

5. Create a [FTP account] and upload the discuz program

In the [Environment Software] tab, find [AMFTP] and add a new FTP account

Among them, the host root directory fills in the root directory when the [virtual host] was created

If you use the default /home/wwwroot, this account can manage all virtual host directories

Directly manage files through [AMFTP] or choose to use PC-side FTP management software, such as FileZilla

Upload the compressed file of the discuz program to the root directory of this [virtual host]

After the upload is completed, use the file management function of [AMFTP],

Enter the root directory of the FTP account corresponding to the virtual host and perform [Smart Decompression] on the program compressed file just uploaded

Note that decompression will directly decompress to the current directory

6. Create a database for the discuz program

In the [Environment Software] tab, find [Madmin] and select [Quick Database Creation]

Please note here that you should establish a database corresponding to your discuz program code.

If it is a random password, remember to copy it and record it.

7. Install discuz program

Accessing the domain name you bound will automatically jump to the /install directory and enter the installation interface

Next step all the way to the third step, fill in the database-related content

It is the [database name] [account name] [password] when you just quickly created the database

Modify other projects according to your own needs

Okay, continue to the next step and the installation will be completed.

8. Check for omissions and fill them in

If you are installing other programs and find that XXX is not supported on the installation interface,

Then copy the keywords to the [Download Application] tab and search and you will find it~

If it is found that the permissions of a certain directory are incorrect, for example, it should have write permissions but does not,

Then either use SS to log in and use the command line to modify

Or modify it through FTP management software. Remember to understand the meaning of 777 755 644 permissions before modifying it.

[AMFTP] There will be an I/O error when uploading files. It is currently unclear what caused it.

For stability, it is recommended to use PC software.
