Some people confuse dreamhost's VPS with dreamhost's cloud. Anyway, they are both usable, but the actual difference is still very big; VPS is fully managed and does not give root permissions; while cloud gives root permissions. There is an obvious difference in permissions here. The minimum monthly payment for VPS is US$10, and the minimum monthly payment for cloud is only US$4.50. I think everyone should be unmistakable by now.
