It has been almost a month since sharktech (Shark Computer Room) launched its public cloud server. I am not talking about VPS here. VPS is an old business and has been officially available for a long time. Some people may be dizzy and confused after reading it. It is much more complicated than the previous VPS. Don’t worry, we will take you through a simple tutorial to ensure you can play!
There are 4 types of public cloud servers:
They are: Small, Medium, Large, and Enterprise; the difference is that the resources allocated are different, and the hourly billing prices are naturally different. There are 4 optional data centers in Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands!

How to register, this is too simple, just fill in the information and pay, no need to go into details! Let’s start directly with how to use it!
After the purchase is successful, we can see the following interface in the official background of sharktech.net. We directly click Panel Login to enter the public cloud server management panel. You can find the required login information in your email address. You can also clearly see it in the "Access Information" in the picture below:
After logging in to the public cloud server management background, you will see the following two pictures, one is a resource monitoring picture:
The other picture is the public cloud server management interface diagram. We name it "Picture B" here. We will use this Picture B later:
After clicking Create virtual machine, we start the steps to create the cloud server, as shown below:
Name it first, such as zhujiceping-demo, and choose to create it with Image. The webmaster is used to this.
Image option, select the operating system you need:
After completing the selection, we found that the default hard disk was too small. Let’s go back and edit it to make it larger:
The next flavor is actually a matter of choosing the configuration size of memory and CPU:
For example, choose a SMALL with 2G memory and 2 cores:
To select network options:
Add:
Network Select drop down and select:
Add SSH KEY, this is necessary, otherwise you will not be able to log in, and SSH key login is mandatory.
Click Add, then add the SSH KEY information, and then select the KEY you added, such as the key named zjcp in the picture. This step of adding SSH KEY can also be implemented separately in the "ssh keys" in the lower left corner of the previous "Figure B". You can add it in advance, and then directly select the "zjcp" ssh key that has been added here. .
The created cloud server looks like this:
Some nonsense about logging in:
Note that the webmaster chose the debian system. The default user of this debian system is "deian" instead of "root":
Remember to log in with SSH KEY, this is officially mandatory:
The webmaster is used to XSHELL. Let me share the steps to create SSH KEY here for the convenience of novices:
Note that we must add the above secret key to the cloud server. Remember "Picture B", there is "ssh keys", click in and add it:
Then we log in and select the SSH KEY just produced with XSHELL:
Also a reminder: the SSH KEY we generate must be stored in the backend of the cloud server, which is the "ssh keys" in "Figure B". That’s it for the tutorial!
