Solve the problem of "Stopping nginx: nginx\\" error in WDCP panel

Last night Snail installed the latest version of WDCP V3 in the Linode VPS host according to the needs of netizens, and there was no problem in building the required website by default. Today this friend came to me and mentioned that after adding a site and messing around, the website could not be opened. Then he followed some online tutorials and encountered various errors.

After Snail got this machine, he couldn’t log in to the panel and website anyway, so he directly SSHed into the server, and then checked what the problem was. First, restart apache and nginx to see, because they were installed during the installation. The WDCP background can switch combinations.

First, restart apache and nginx

service httpd restartservice nginxd restart

Restart and see if there are any errors.

Second, check the error message

Stopping nginx: nginx: [warn] conflicting server name \\"website domain name\\" on 0.0.0.0:80, ignored

This problem should be caused by an error in adding duplicate domain names when configuring the domain name.

Third, solve the problem

/www/wdlinux/nginx-1.8.1/conf/vhost

Here go to the corresponding configured site file, and then you can see that there are duplicate site domain names in the site configuration. Here we retain the uniqueness, then save and submit the replacement, then restart nginx, and all problems will be solved.

We need to pay attention here, especially for novices who are using VPS for the first time, and when using SFTP management, be careful to delete files and modify files, and remember to save before modifying.
