Quickly self-build and install Seafile with one click to build private cloud disk storage

Last week, Snail experienced Seafile's method of building private cloud disk storage in the article "Using Seafile to build a cloud disk storage tool/service with personal permissions". This method is compiled with the help of official steps. The installation seemed a little troublesome and took several hours. If we really wanted to popularize users to build it, it would be too inefficient. It would be nice if it could be installed quickly with one click, because we still like efficient tools, otherwise there is no need to use them.

At the same time, while compiling this document, I saw that the Xiao Z blog (https://www.xiaoz.me/archives/8480) shared a one-click method to install Seafile cloud disk storage. Snail is going to share it in this article. In the article, refer to the blogger's script to see if it is effective, because sometimes it is also a tool, sometimes it is suitable for others, and you may encounter various problems when it is your turn to install it.

First, Seafile one-click rapid deployment preparation

1. Prepare a test VPS host here. I also use CentOS7 for the system.

2. I use 1GB of memory for the server configuration. I am worried that the compilation process will be too slow and insufficient.

Second, Seafile one-click script and installation

1. Script

yum install wget -ywget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/helloxz/seafile/master/install_seafile.shchmod +x install_seafile.sh && ./install_seafile.sh

2. Installation process

Enter the installation selection interface. Here we want to install, enter 1 and press Enter.

When you see this interface, press Enter to continue.

According to the prompts, we enter the host name, IP address or bound domain name, and press Enter for everything else.

Finally, we set the email address and password, and then wait for the deployment and installation to be completed automatically. We see that the installation is complete, here the snail is logged in using the IP address, and we see the login URL.

Enter the URL and port as prompted to log in, and you will see the login interface.

Seafile storage supports Simplified Chinese. After logging in, we saw that the interface is relatively friendly and the user experience is relatively good.
