TOTYUN's Hong Kong VPS official website claims to have a CN2 line, provides unlimited traffic, and supports Windows operating systems. Below we will see what the specific effect will be.

Let’s first take a look at the local Ping effect of TOTYUN’s Hong Kong VPS, as shown below:

My local test results show that the average delay is about 58ms. The network is relatively stable, and there is basically no packet loss.

Then we tested the nationwide Ping situation through third-party tools, as shown below:

Judging from the national ping situation of the three networks above, the China Telecom and China Unicom networks are not ideal, both reaching more than 100ms, China Unicom network is even close to 200ms, and the mobile network delay is about 43ms, which is relatively good for Hong Kong VPS normal. And you can also see that the network in many provinces cannot be connected, which is very unsatisfactory compared with all the Hong Kong VPS we have evaluated.

Telecom routing:

TOTYUN's official website advertises that there is a CN2 line, but it can be seen that the telecommunications network does not use the CN2 line, and it is not directly connected. It first detours to Japan and then to the Hong Kong computer room.

China Unicom Route:

China Unicom's network uses AS4837 routing, and it is also directly connected. It stands to reason that the delay of this line will not be high, but judging from the above test results, the delay is relatively high. However, if you look closely at the route, you can find that when the route reaches Hong Kong, it suddenly turns to Shanghai, and then to Hong Kong, which is quite strange.

Mobile routing:

TOTYUN's mobile network routing seems to be relatively normal and is directly connected to Hong Kong, so the ping delay will be relatively low.

Then we look at the local download speed test, as shown below:

The download speed of the local mobile network has almost reached 3.5M/s, and can almost reach 4M/s. This looks good, but I am testing the local mobile network, and China Telecom and China Unicom said it is no. alright.

Of course, here are just some of the TOTYUN Hong Kong VPS packages. The maximum bandwidth supports 100Mbps. From the package point of view, the starting point of the minimum configuration is relatively high.
