Hncloud has added a series of Hong Kong high-bandwidth servers, which have been specially optimized for the mainland. Registration-free Hong Kong high-bandwidth server access high-bandwidth dedicated line, exclusive access to more than 50M optimized return bandwidth, unlimited traffic up to 1000M bandwidth, faster speed, lower delay, suitable for high-density network throughput, data processing/video/live broadcast/download/ Used by CDN and other large-bandwidth services. So how effective is this Hong Kong high-bandwidth server? In this article, we will make a simple evaluation. Friends in need can pay attention to it.

Hong Kong high bandwidth server evaluation

The test machine this time is E5-2660, 16G memory, 500G SSD, 50M bandwidth, the IP belongs to hncloud's own AS, and the hard disk I/O is approximately 311MB/S:

We use speedtest.net nodes to test how much bandwidth the server can run. The first one defaults to the nearest node, which basically runs at 50Mbps, and the rest are China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile nodes, especially The upload speed we need is basically full:

Make a simple comparison of the evening peak hours and look at the data:

For the outgoing China Telecom journey, take CN2 and then connect to Hong Kong pccw:

For China Unicom's outbound journey, the backbone network connects to Telecom CN2 and then to Hong Kong pccw:

Mobile outbound, mobile CMI direct connection:

Return to Mainland China Telecom: Directly connect from Hong Kong Mobile back to Mainland China Mobile and then transfer to China Telecom

Return to Mainland China Unicom: Same as the previous model, from China Mobile Hong Kong node back to China Mobile and then transfer to China Unicom

Return, move to the Mainland: Hong Kong mobile nodes are directly connected to the Mainland

Performance test:

Summary

For the outbound trip, China Telecom and China Unicom are forced to use CN2 to Hong Kong pccw, and China Mobile uses its own CMI direct connection; for the return trip, the three networks force a mode, all from China Mobile's Hong Kong node to directly connect to mainland China Mobile, and then to their respective lines in the mainland .

From a network perspective, this large-bandwidth mode is quite acceptable at present, and the bandwidth can reach up to 1Gbps. You can judge according to your own needs.
