Let’s first take a look at the local delay effect of pq.hosting, the American VPS, as shown below:

You can see that my local delay is about 226ms and the packet loss rate is 5%. This effect is not very good for an American VPS.

You can see that the outbound route of China Telecom goes out from the Guangzhou network port, then arrives in California, USA, passes through Chicago, USA, and finally reaches the Secaucus computer room in New Jersey.

China Unicom outbound route:

The China Unicom network goes out from the Beijing network port to Los Angeles in the United States, passes through Virginia, and then reaches the computer room in Secaucus, New Jersey.

The routing lines of the mobile network are similar to those of the telecommunications network. It goes out from the Guangzhou network port, arrives in California, passes through the United States, and then reaches the Secaucus computer room in New Jersey. It’s just that the mobile network passes through more nodes, so the delay is relatively high.

However, as tested previously, pq.hosting’s American VPS computer room is located on the east coast of the United States. The access delay in mainland China is high, and packet loss is serious, so it is not very suitable for users in mainland China.
