Corresponding to the cloud instance Xinghai SA3, it can provide up to 232 cores of single-node computing power, which can further satisfy users' computing power performance in video encoding and decoding, offline rendering, database, AI and other scenarios. needs. Among them, in the AI ​​scenario, the measured performance of Xingxinghai SA3 has been improved by more than 220%.

The new generation of Xinghai server released this time has better performance in terms of security and heat dissipation than the previous generation server. For example, this server has added SEV-SNP features in terms of security, which can more comprehensively protect data security; in terms of heat dissipation, the air-cooling heat dissipation capacity has been increased by 22%, and it is compatible with liquid-cooling design, which can reduce carbon emissions by 8%; it also supports PCIe EDR features, stronger reliability, and greatly improved overall machine performance.

In addition to hardware improvements, the corresponding cloud instance Xinghai SA3 also combines cloud computing features to greatly optimize storage performance and network performance. In terms of storage performance, SA3 uses Tencent Cloud's latest generation CBS block storage engine, with a storage capacity of up to 8GB/s and a 63% reduction in IO latency. It can better support low-latency, high-stability applications and is suitable for general-purpose business processing, Scenarios such as databases, NoSQL, audio and video processing, and log retrieval also provide high-performance and stable storage capabilities. In terms of network performance, the bottom layer of Xingxinghai SA3 is fully based on the new 100G network architecture, providing ultra-large network bandwidth of up to 100G. The single-node network bandwidth is increased by up to 400% compared to the previous generation, and combined with the new optimization of the network virtualization platform, network packet forwarding The performance has increased by more than 260%, which can provide super network performance for high-traffic and high-forwarding network application scenarios.

In 2019, Tencent Cloud released the first Xingxinghai self-developed server.
