Generally, when introducing VPS, it is said that it is the telecommunications backbone route. , ChinaNet provides broadband services to tens of millions of users. Most of the export broadband from mainland China takes this route. This is the earliest generation of export broadband built in China. Telecom CN2

Telecom CN2 (full name Chinatelecom Next Carrier Network) is Telecom's new generation export bearer network after the 163 backbone. The AS number is AS4809. This generation is mainly built to provide higher quality line connections and can achieve global Fast connections provide more stable transfer services for lines between Europe, North America and Asia. However, due to the relatively small bandwidth during construction, the audience is relatively small. Basically, they are enterprises, government agencies, financial services and other enterprises. For users in public institutions to use it, of course the price is more expensive than the first generation.

CN2 is divided into CN2 GT and CN2 GIA

CN2 GT

GT in English is Global Transit, which provides global customers with transfer services to access global Internet resources. Provided to global communication operators. Up to now, China Telecom has established more than 5000G interconnection bandwidth with international Tier1/2 operators and mainstream OTT. Its own access network is ChinaNet (AS4134), but it is directly connected to China Telecom CN2 (AS4809) of a service. CN2 GT China International Export has its own separate line, but the link in mainland China still uses the 163 backbone network.

CN2 GIA

GIA in English stands for Global Internet Access, which provides corporate customers with high-quality China-bound Internet dedicated line access services. Note that GIA specifically refers to dedicated line services with China. It is mainly a high-quality network provided to enterprises, with its own access network CN2 (AS4809), full export CN2 (AS4809) routing, and international network high-speed and stable links to the Chinese mainland network. The quality of this bandwidth should be the best in telecommunications networks, but its shortcomings are also obvious. The egress bandwidth of the entire GIA is small, which is more likely to cause network fluctuations under the entire GIA when a large traffic attack occurs. The main advantage of GIA is that it has a separate line back to the country, with high priority and high quality, but the access price is relatively expensive.

How to distinguish CN2 GT and CN2 GIA

Let’s first understand which cities in China have CN2 lines, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi’an, Wuhan, Urumqi, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. These cities have CN2 lines. So how to judge whether to take CN2 GT or GIA? Generally we know that CN2 must go to 59.43.*.*, but after testing in many cities, they first go to 202.97.*.* and then to 59.43.*.*. In this way, we judge that it is actually wrong to go to GT because Not all cities have CN2 GIA. If not, you need to go to ChinaNet first and then go to GIA when you get to the exit. The only city that does not use ChinaNet is Shanghai, so we only need to use Shanghai Telecom to test. If it is 59.43 directly .*.*If you go abroad, it must be CN2 GIA.

I tested it with my own GT that was doing brickwork, and it was obvious that the GT network was working.
