I have previously evaluated Vultr in Tokyo and Singapore, Japan, and today I will conduct an evaluation on the Amsterdam computer room in the Netherlands. Because the machine configurations are similar, we will not comment on the machine configuration. We will mainly look at the network and lines.

I pinged it through Webmaster Network, but it didn’t look very good.

Download evaluation in mainland China

China Unicom is relatively miserable, with very slow download and upload speeds.

Later, I opened a $10/month one and ran around with it, and it was still relatively strong.

Outbound route

Telecom's outbound route takes the Telecom backbone directly to the Netherlands.

Move the outbound route, detouring through the UK and then to the Netherlands.

For China Unicom's outbound route, first go to the United States and then go around to the Netherlands.

Backhaul routing

The mobile backhaul route also traveled around the UK and then to mainland China.

My telecommunications friends helped me test the video speed, and I can watch 2k. Summary: If you only need access from telecom users, then the Netherlands is okay. China Unicom and China Mobile have serious detours. If it is for foreign users, it is a good choice.
