News: WLS (WeLoveServers) has been acquired by hostwinds

In the early morning of the 15th, which is the 14th US time, this site received a message from hostwinds saying that it had acquired WLS (WeLoveServers). It can be said that it is very good to see this news, at least there is no need to worry about WLS running away. Got it! Although hostwinds was founded in 2010, it has its own datacenter. Its business covers almost all host products, and it takes a high-end route. The price can be said to be unaffordable for us losers. I don’t know if the acquisition of WLS is to expand low-end users or what. No matter what the purpose is, it is a good thing for WLS users anyway.

Currently, the official announcement is that WLS users will be transferred to the hostwinds billing system within the next 60 days. Currently, Hostwinds only has the Dallas datacenter. I don’t know if we plan to move everyone to Dallas or continue to keep the machines in the QN and CC datacenters. We can only wait for the final result!

The most immediate change you will notice, is all credit card and PayPal payments will now be going directly through Hostwinds. This means that on your Credit Card Statement the charge will show up as “Hostwinds”, also on PayPal payments, it will show up as paying Hostwinds.
