Previously, this site has introduced to you how to use Xshell to connect to VPS remotely: forwarding request.

1. Xshell connects to VPS

This Warning seems to only appear on CentOS 7 systems. This warning message will appear regardless of whether Xshell5 or Xshell6 is used:

When this Warning appears on your interface, you have connected to your VPS normally and can run commands. You can choose to ignore this problem, or you can refer to the tutorial below to eliminate this warning.

2. How to eliminate warnings

Eliminate WARNING! The remote server rejected X11 forwarding request. This warning Lao Wang mainly shares two methods here.

1. Install xorg-x11-xauth

You can install it directly with yum:

yum install xorg-x11-xauth -y

After restarting your VPS and connecting again, you will find that this WARNING disappears.

2. Close the forwarded X11 connection

Open your Xshell5/Xshell6, click File->Properties:

Click SSH->Tunnel, uncheck "Forward X11 connections to (X):", English is Forward X11 connections to:

You will not have this WARNING if you use your Xshell to connect to the same VPS later.
