This site has previously introduced you to ipcheck, an online IP availability detection tool. Today I will introduce to you a detection tool officially launched by Bricklayer: ping.pe. This tool can also be used to detect VPS IP connectivity and Port connectivity, when detecting IP connectivity, ping.pe will also provide packet loss detection results, which is a very convenient IP detection tool.

1. Introduction and use of ping.pe

ping.pe has two tools, one is IP connectivity (ping detection) and the other is port connectivity detection.

1. Ping detection

Tool address: ping.pe

Enter your VPS IP and click [Go] to start detection:

According to the test results (foreign test results and mainland China test results), green means that the ping can be successful, and red means that the node cannot be pinged. The last column of test results can display the packet loss rate. More red means serious packet loss. All green means there is no packet loss. The first column "Loss" also indicates the packet loss rate. In addition to the packet loss rate, Last\Avg\Best\Worst are all delays:

2. Port detection

Tool address: port.ping.pe

Enter the IP and port of your VPS (for example, 1.2.3.4:22), and click [Go] to start detection:

The test results are also divided into mainland China and foreign countries. Successful indicates port connectivity:

2. Other IP detection tools

Another very useful IP detection tool: ipcheck

Chinese tools are also clear at a glance.
