[Know the information early] Tencent Cloud lightweight application server-new intranet interconnection function!

The VPC peering function has been anticipated for a long time. Lightsail has actually supported it for a long time, but Alibaba has not followed up. Product iteration still depends on Tencent.

Lightweight itself is streamlined based on the CVM architecture. In terms of interconnection, it does not give you the option of configuring a VPC. Instead, it defaults to placing a VPC under one account in the same region. Since it has VPC itself, the infrastructure also supports interconnection between VPCs. This function is called cloud networking in Tencent Cloud, and now it also supports binding to lightweight~

After going through activities such as student upgrade, worry-free, and 618, I have saved a lot of machines from mainland China. Intranets in the same region in mainland China are still very useful for servers with small bandwidth~

1. Create a corresponding regional cloud network

Go to the CCN page and create a new CCN in the corresponding region. There is no charge for CCN under 5Gbps in the same region, so you can configure it with confidence and choose to connect the VPC where CVM, CDB, etc. are located:

2. Establish lightweight intranet interconnection

In the lightweight console, the intranet interconnection is already online on the left side. Select the corresponding region to apply for access to CCN.

3. Accept lightweight VPC connection application

Go back to the CCN console and accept the access permission of the lightweight VPC on the page. At this time, the routing table between the two VPCs will be automatically generated. If there is no conflict, the interconnection can be completed.

The intranet speed is 0.2ms, which is very fast and plays a great role in the interconnection between machines in mainland China~

4. Modify the VPC intranet address segment

If there are many connected VPCs and there is an address conflict with the previously deleted VPC, then go to the VPC settings to delete the invalid routes~

The intranet segments generated by Tencent Cloud's own system will not conflict, so basically you will not encounter this problem.
