This feature is in the internal testing stage, Google announced (https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/identity-security/automate-public-certificate-lifecycle- management-via–acme-client-api) says enhancements to the certificate manager preview are now available for TLS termination of Google Cloud customer network load balancers or workloads across cloud and on-premises deployments.

The characteristics of the certificate service are as follows (provided by V2EX ZeroClover): free, and only supports the ACME protocol for application. Like Let's Encrypt, it supports multiple domain names and pan-domain names. It supports IP certificates, but currently Only the owner of the IP Block can be verified. Currently, the complete ECDSA chain is not provided. Only the leaf certificate is ECDSA. Punycode is not currently supported. The domain name certificate validity period is optional from 1 to 90 days, but currently the ACME client does not seem to support setting the certificate validity period.

PS: The blogger has had a rough experience and found that applying for EAB_KEY_ID is too troublesome. ZeroSSL and Let certificates are more convenient to apply for.
