The Mount ISO function supports users to mount more than 100 images, including various Linux distributions, systems with built-in desktop environments, Turnkey application systems, etc. After the bricklayer mounts the image, it can be connected directly through VNC, and it can also be easily unmounted afterwards. Today I will introduce the function of Mount ISO.
1. Mounting the image of Bricklayer
The Mount ISO function of Bricklayer is in the KiwiVM control panel, so you need to log in to the KiwiVM control panel first.
Bricklayer official website: https://bwh81.netFirst log in to the official website of Bricklayer, then in the Services->My Services interface, click KiwiVM Control Panel behind the VPS list, as shown in the figure below:
Next, after entering the homepage of the KiwiVM panel, we will first see some basic information about the KiwiVM VPS. After scrolling down the page, we can find the Mount ISO function of the KiwiVM. As shown in the figure, the KiwiVM supports more than 100 kinds of images. files, including various Linux distributions, systems with built-in desktop environments, Turnkey application systems, etc. We find the image file we need and click [mount] to mount it:
After buffering for a period of time, you can see the prompt that the ISO was successfully mounted:

IMPORTANT: In order for changes to apply, VM must be completely stopped via Stop or Force Stop buttons on the main page of the KiwiVM control panel. Wait for VM to stop completely – make sure Status is Stopped. After VM stops completely , start it again.
Use Root Shell – Interactive to control the VM while it boots from this ISO.
We can see from the prompt that you need to Stop and then Start the VPS to make the mounted ISO take effect. You can click [<<< return to main page] at the bottom of the page to return to the KiwiVM control panel home page.
If your homepage prompts Task in progress, wait patiently for a few minutes, because it also takes time to mount the image:

After the mounting is successful, restart the Bricklayer VPS, first click force stop, and then click start:
After restarting, a prompt box will pop up indicating that the ISO is mounted successfully, and VNC will be automatically opened:
2. Enter the Bricklayer VNC installation system or application
The next step is to install the selected image in the VNC interface, as shown below:
3. Unmount the image by moving bricklayers
Finally, if we need to unmount the image, the operation is very simple. You can see the [unmount] button below on the KiwiVM homepage. Just click the button to unmount:
After seeing the following prompt, it means that the image has been successfully unmounted.

4. Upload a custom image
Although the Mount ISO function of Bricklayer supports mounting and installing more than 100 system images, these system images are provided by Bricklayer. Currently, Bricklayer cannot upload custom ISOs, that is, the system cannot be customized. For example, we You cannot use this function to install the Windows ISO on the Bricklayer VPS.
