DMIT Japan Lite version of VPS has been online for 3 months. About the newly launched Japanese Pro package, DMIT’s official introduction is as follows:

Three Networks Japan -> Mainland China's return direction will mainly use CTGnet; the outbound journey will be optimized depending on the situation. CTGnet's outbound journey is not optimal, and neither the packet loss rate nor the delay is optimal, especially for mobile users and China Unicom users.

CMI outbound will allow us to connect directly with mobile users directly via SHA – TYO. DMIT and 10099 are connected through a 10G port, which has a larger egress rate, and CTGnet and 4837 have limited interconnection and are often congested.

Note:

CTGnet ~= CN2. The difference is that CTGnet has GT/GIA and China traffic percentage.

CTGnet 100% GIA's Layer 3 is almost exactly equal to CN2. DMIT ordered this product in Japan.

CTGnet uses its own submarine optical cable to connect to CN2's PoP in China. CN2's optical cable failures are often manually dispatched. CTGnet is maintained by CTG and has faster error response.

Although CMI SHA-TYO is directly connected to Layer 3, at Layer 1, the NCP submarine optical cable used by CMI still needs to pass through South Korea.

CMI and 10099 have not yet been activated. Due to the long delivery delay, DMIT is unwilling to continue to bear the waste caused by CTGnet idling, so it will provide Pro for OpenBeta sales first.

There will be a lot of debugging during OpenBeta and SLA cannot be guaranteed. We will try to reduce the duration of various maintenance as much as possible and avoid peak hours in all time zones in East Asia.
