Tencent Cloud lightweight application server supports free replacement of public network IP, and can be replaced in mainland China/overseas data centers.

Today, this site discovered that Tencent Cloud has added a new function to the lightweight application host: changing the public network IP. This function is currently free and open to Tencent Cloud lightweight application host data centers in mainland China and overseas data centers (including China Hong Kong data center) can change the IP for free, and each instance can only be changed once. 1. Tencent Cloud lightweight IP replacement points to note

At present, Tencent Cloud’s free public IP changing function is free and open, but there are two restrictions:

• Each account can be changed up to 3 times per day in each region, and the number of changes is shared among all Tencent Cloud products that use ordinary public IPs.
• Each instance can be replaced at most once during its lifetime.

Tencent Cloud will not affect the data on the host when applying to change the IP, that is, all data will be retained, but the original IP cannot be retrieved after the change.

2. Tencent Cloud lightweight IP replacement tutorial

Open the official Tencent Cloud website, log in and enter the lightweight application host console, find the Tencent Cloud lightweight application host instance whose IP needs to be changed, and click [More] -> [Management] to enter the management page:

Click [More Operations]->[Change Public IP] in the upper right corner to apply for a free IP change:

Tencent Cloud is currently free to change public network IP, but there are usage restrictions. The restrictions are as follows. Then click [OK] to start changing IP:

After changing the IP, the original IP cannot be retrieved. Changing the IP will not affect the data on the host. We can use the new IP to reconnect to the Tencent Cloud lightweight application host.
