American hosting provider BuyVM acquires AnyNode, and all AnyNode VPSs are transferred to BuyVM

The VPS industry is booming again. On May 27, 2021, U.S. time, the American hosting provider AnyNode sent an email announcing its cooperation with BuyVM. BuyVM will obtain all AnyNode VPS accounts, and all AnyNode VPS will be closed on August 1, 2021. All VPS require users to officially register an account at buyvm.net, and then send a work order to request the transfer of the VPS or directly convert the remaining time into an amount and store it in the buyvm account balance.

BuyVM is a well-known provider in the hosting field and a long-term partner of AnyNode. After the acquisition, BuyVM will provide you with higher quality services, a new virtual private network management panel, and access to new add-ons such as DDoS protection. IPs, free DirectAdmin licenses, BGP sessions and more.

For this acquisition, AnyNode issued important instructions, which are as follows:

1. Create an account using BuyVM

VPS customers must create an account on BuyVM. We will not migrate customer details or login information, you must create an account at https://my.frantech.ca/register.php.

Use real information when registering to avoid being rejected by fraud detection systems. When creating an account, please use the same email you use on any node to make it easier to verify your identity.

2. Issue a work order to request movement or account credit

Send a work order in BuyVM's billing department. Send a work order to tell BuyVM whether you want a new service with the same specifications as the current plan, including IP and address, as well as account balance.

Two title types for issuing work orders:

AnyNode Migration – [IP.Address] (required to transfer anynode’s vps to buyvm, write down the IP of your VPS)

AnyNode Migration – Account Credit (required to indicate the transfer to account balance!)

3. A new VPS will be created upon purchase - or account balance will be allocated

After verifying the details, BuyVM will create a US VPS with the same specifications as your current AnyNode plan and provide you with one month of free data migration. Your virtual machine will be assigned a new IP address. If you select the account balance option, the remaining time on your current any-node VPS will be calculated as a balance and applied to your BuyVM account.

4. All any node VPS will be terminated on August 1st

Important: If your any-node VPS uses PayPal for recurring payments, you must log into PayPal and cancel yourself.

If you do not follow the above steps to request a new VPS on BuyVM, all VPS powered by AnyNode will be offline on August 1, 2021.

Notes

When registering a buyvm account, be sure to use real information to register, otherwise the system will directly determine it as a fraud! Your local IP address, the country you selected when registering your account, and the phone number you selected need to be consistent. For example, they are all from China! If you consider paying via PayPal in the future, make sure the email address you use to register your account is the same as your PayPal email account!
