Windows 10 Pro For Workstations DD Image

The Windows Server 2019 DD image is based on Windows 10 1809. Currently, many new features are not supported, such as the inability to install and use Windows Terminal.
So I spent some time and made Windows 10 Pro for Workstations DD images, which are:
1. Chinese version of Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (Windows build version number: 19042.630)
2. English version of Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (Windows build version number: 19042.630)
3. Japanese version of Windows 10 Pro for Workstations (Windows build version number: 19042.630)

The above images are produced in sequence based on the following MSDN original images:
1. cn_windows_10_business_editions_version_20h2_x64_dvd_f978664f.iso
2. en_windows_10_business_editions_version_20h2_x64_dvd_4788fb7c.iso
3. ja_windows_10_business_editions_version_20h2_x64_dvd_a074758e.iso

Mirrors have the following characteristics

1. The following drivers are integrated. Applicable to most KVM, XEN virtualized VPS and servers using Intel network cards, such as vultr, kimsufi, hetzner, oneprovider, online, etc.

Why use the XEN driver of Amazon AWS? The reason is that the drivers officially provided by XEN are unsigned. It cannot be added directly to the system and will cause errors.

After decompressing PROWinx64.zip, 7zip decompresses PROWinx64.exe again and modifies the PROWinx64.exe/PRO1000/Winx64/NDIS65/e1c65x64.inf file. Please refer to "How to Make a DD Image of Windows Server 2019" here.

2. Direct unattended installation without VNC interaction. After DD is completed, restart the system and wait a moment to remotely log in to the desktop
3. You can use either key or KMS to activate the system
4. The Ctrl + Alt + Del shortcut key login method is turned off by default
5. Windows Remote Desktop is enabled by default
6. Based on some system optimizations that come with Dism++, such as hiding shortcut arrows, enabling Windows Photo Viewer, etc.

Installation method

1. Installation process on KVM or XEN virtualized VPS

Choose CentOS 7 or Debian 9 system. The recommended memory is 4GB and above, and the hard drive is recommended to be 30GB and above. Use the root user to ssh in, execute the following command, and then wait quietly.
The installation speed depends on the speed of the network image download. Basically, after waiting for 20-90 minutes, you can see the familiar Windows login interface when you open VNC again.

2. Installation process on independent servers such as Kimsufi

After entering rescue mode (rescue), ssh in as root user and execute the following command, and then wait quietly.

Default username and password for Remote Desktop
Username: administrator
Password: Teddysun.com

Note: Please log in to the remote desktop after the installation is complete, perform Windows automatic updates and change the Administrator password immediately.

Write at the end

1. These images are only made for learning purposes. If you need to use them for a long time, please use a genuine Windows key to activate the system.
2. All the images are produced by the original MSDN. I can guarantee that I do not include any private goods. If you do not trust me, please do not use it.
3. The DD image of Windows 10 Pro for Workstations is a 15GB VHD. After successful installation, you need to manually expand the disk.
4. Using Windows DD images may violate the TOS of some merchants. I am not responsible if I am punished by the merchant for using the image I made.
5. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to get GPT + UFEI VHD. The system's disk partition format uses MBR, so it will not be able to recognize hard disk space larger than 2TB. In other words, if the system disk where the DD is located has a capacity greater than 2TB, then only 2TB can be utilized at most, and the remaining hard disk space will not be utilized. Of course, if the server has multiple hard disks and the hard disks other than the system disk are recognized normally and use the GPT disk partition format, the entire capacity can be used normally.
