Solution to the problem that the pagoda panel phpmyadmin cannot be opened

Recently I found that many people have this problem, so I wrote this tutorial to help you solve the problem.

There are several possible reasons for this problem:

1. Server port 888 is not released

2. After the server port 888 is released, the server's security group does not allow port 888.

3.The PHP version is incorrect or the PHP version is not selected

4.phpmyadmin is not installed correctly

For the above reasons, the following solutions are given one by one:

First one

In the Pagoda Panel – Security tab, release port 888, as shown below:

After the port control, enter the 888 port and add a note. The note here is the phpmyadmin port. Then click Release

Second

If you are using a service provider such as Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud that has security group settings, please release the port in the security group, as shown below (Alibaba Cloud):

Please note that in the above figure, only the inbound direction rules are set for the security group release. Please add the same rules in the outbound direction to ensure that the port ingress and egress are normal.

The third type

Some people in phpmyadmin do not set the PHP version, or the PHP version is set incorrectly, as shown below:

Set the PHP version here and save it! Note that PHP version is best set to version 7.0 and above!

The fourth type

If phpmyadmin is not installed correctly, just uninstall phpmyadmin and reinstall it in the software management interface.
