I placed an order at around 8pm and bought this 512 memory VPS from vpsunlimited.com. It is based on XEN. The location is the QR computer room in Los Angeles. It has a 25G hard drive, 500G traffic, and an IPV4. The first monthly payment is 2.99 knives. The monthly renewal fee is 8.99 dollars. Based on this, I bought one to try it out. If it works well, I will renew it next month. The picture below shows the environment after compilation is completed:
The following is a simple evaluation data of this 512M memory VPS from vpsunlimited.com:
Let’s look at the hard disk I/O first. Personally, I think it’s just okay. Mainly because the test at 10pm is considered the peak period for foreigners, right? root@vps:/# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=4k oflag=dsync 4096+0 records in 4096+0 records out 268435456 bytes (268 MB) copied, 4.5251 s, 59.3 MB/s
Network download speed test, 100M port has nothing to say. root@vps:/# wget http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test –2012-12-01 22:16:33– http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test Resolving cachefly.cachefly.net… 205.234.175.175 Connecting to cachefly.cachefly.net|205.234.175.175|:80… connected. I saw that the CPU does not limit the frequency. This has both advantages and disadvantages; root@vps:/# cat /proc/cpuinfo processor: 0 vendor_id: GenuineIntel cpu family: 6 model: 44 model name: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz stepping : 2 CPU MHz: 2400.084 cache size: 12288 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug : no coma_bug : no fpu: yes fpu_exception: yes cpuid level: 10 wp: yes flags: fpu tsc msr pae cx8 cmov pat clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss nx constant_tsc pni vmx ssse3 sse4_1 sse4_2 popcnt hypervisor tpr_"undescriptable" vnmi flexpriority ept vpid bogomips : 4800.16 clflush size: 64 cache_alignment: 64 address sizes: 40 bits physical, 48 bits virtual power management:
