In September this year, when Tencent Cloud officially launched the Hong Kong lightweight application server, this site conducted a simple experience test, and conducted a second simple test in October. The main focus was on network solutions. The third simple test was conducted in two months. It was mainly about the network. It is basically in a relatively normal state now. Let’s look at the performance during the evening peak period again. The performance during the off-peak period is still relatively good.

1. Upload and download test of three networks in mainland China:

From the test point of view, it is normal. After all, during the peak period, the gap between different regions is still relatively large. In particular, China Unicom lines perform better, so some responses are better and some responses are worse. Overall, It can still be used for general small websites; and Tencent Cloud lightweight application servers also have snapshots, so in addition to regular backups when building a website, snapshots are also a way to protect data.

2. Backhaul routing test:

From the perspective of backhaul routing, China Telecom's performance during peak periods is relatively average, with China Unicom and China Mobile performing better, so overall it is more suitable for China Unicom and China Mobile line users to choose.

3. Network packet loss rate test:

The network packet loss rate in mainland China is relatively high, but there are still certain differences in different regions. Overall, China Unicom's lines perform better! Therefore, from the perspective of network performance, it is indeed not as good as Tencent Cloud's own cloud server. After all, you get what you pay for.
