CENTOS 6.8 has been released

CentOS is a community of open source software contributors and users. • libreswan has replaced openswan as the endpoint solution (supported by NetworkManager)

• sssd has new features and supports smart cards, and stops supporting SSLv2
• The maximum file system size supported by XFS has been increased to 300TB
• TLSv1.2 is already supported by many applications, including OpenLDAP, yum, stunnel, vsftpd, git, postfix, etc. In addition, different components support TLSv1.2 by default

• No applications already support elliptic-curve parameters, including Perl Net:SSLeay and Perl IO::Socket::SSL

• dmidecode currently supports SMBIOS 3.0.0
• The kickstart file can be downloaded from https source
• Chrony has been added as a replacement for NTPd
• Added squid 3.4 as a replacement for squid 3.1
• Guests using Hyper-V have been enhanced to include: reporting kernel hangs to the supervisor and operating with second-generation guests
• New component rear can be used to continuously create repair images
• SSLv3 and older insecure communication protocols have been disabled by default, and different components have also added setting items for selecting communication protocols
• libreoffice has been switched to version 4.3.7.2

• Different components have been switched to newer versions, including elfutils, SystemTap, ipmitool, memtest86+, icedtea-web, various drivers, shadow tools, virt-who, etc.
