腾讯轻量服务器（2核4G）DD安装Windows 2008 R2的踩坑记录

Cause

I bought a Tencent Cloud lightweight server (1 core 2G5M) last night and upgraded it to 2 core 4G6M for free using the event. The price for 3 years is 488 yuan.

This server is planned to be used to host the locomotive collector software. The operating system version required by the locomotive collector I use cannot be higher than Windows 2008 and Windows 7. Tencent Cloud Windows only has 2012 by default. So use DD to install a windows 2008 R2 operating system.

The server CPU model is: AMD EPYC 7K62

Process

Collect a large amount of information and DD system installation package before DD installation. The actual operation process is not complicated, but there are many unfamiliar things when using this method for the first time.

First reset the operating system to Cent OS 7, and then reset the system password through the Tencent console.

Then operate remotely through VNC of Tencent console.

DD installation script

After running this script, multiple operating system selection options for the Linux series will be given. We want to install the 2008 system, so we selected the ninth custom system installation package.

After selecting, enter the direct link address of the system installation package. Press Enter to start automatic installation.

The installation process is mainly due to the relatively long system download time. He placed this installation package on a foreign server, and the access speed from mainland China was poor. If conditions permit, you can temporarily transfer this installation package to your own server.

During the download process, the VNC remote interface will always be displayed in the interface below. Don't worry, you can check the current network download speed of your server on the Tencent console.

After the installation is completed, you will automatically enter the settings page.

After completion, you will be asked to set a system password, just set it yourself.

Accounts are all administrator by default.

The default remote connection port is 33899! I couldn't connect to it after the installation was completed, so I installed it again and finally found that it was not the default port 3389.

At the same time, the Tencent Cloud console remembers to release TCP 33899 port.

Summary

The DD process is simple
After DD is completed, set the password yourself in VNC
The default remote port of this system package is 33899
Tencent console needs to release remote port 33899.
