Sharktech sent an email full of joy to announce that they will soon launch a Los Angeles data center, which will still provide servers and clouds with DDOS protection. The estimated launch time is January 10th. Currently, Sharktech already has two operational data centers in Chicago and Denver! Does this mean that SF WAIGUA and others will come here in the future?
The equipment is hosted in downtown Luoshan (707 Wilshire Blvd), which is the largest Internet traffic gateway connecting North America to Asia. Sharktech's optical fiber will be directly connected to Wilshire and Equinix computer rooms to ensure smooth network! Tier-III level computer room, redundant power grid, backup power supply, diesel generator set and N+1 cooling system, connected to multiple network nodes with up to 320G bandwidth.
Dedicated Servers: Will only offer servers with name brand (Supermicro and DELL) Xeon processors. All servers will have IPMI (remote console), 100Mbps and Gigabit network connectivity, graceful restart, etc.
All servers will come with Windows Web or Standard licensing and/or cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin licenses at no additional cost.
Cloud Virtual Services: We will be using Microsoft Hyper-V 2012 and expanding our virtual services to Los Angeles with redundant solid state drives (SSDs) and 10 KRPM serial attached SCSI storage.
