Recently, 123systems has launched two consecutive KVM VPS promotions. I don’t know if you have checked in. The newly launched KVM VPS uses SSD hard drives for raid 10 and E5 series U. Why do all these look so high-end? Is this still the legendary 123systems? In order to verify my guess, I couldn't help but buy a 256M memory KVM with an annual payment of 14 US dollars and did a test. For now, my conclusion is that this effect is very good and if it can be maintained, then the reputation of 123systems will be better. It seems that I have completely lost my body in an "indescribable" way! The specific situation still depends on the situation in the later stage... Below I will release some data from my own running. If you are interested, you can take a look for yourself and make an evaluation!
If you are interested, check out the promotion for yourself: 123systems-$18/year/KVM/512m memory/15gSSD/1T traffic/Los Angeles 123systems-$14/Kvm/256m memory/10gSSD/500g traffic/Los Angeles
I bought a KVM VPS with 256M memory. I saw clearly that there is swap here. The SSD hard disk is used for swap. You will understand later.
The CPU virtualized by KVM here is actually E5-2620
10G hard drive, SSD
G port, Los Angeles computer room
Multiple DDs in a row, this I/O is really excellent so far.
Because the network was tested at night, some areas did not work well.
The single-core unix bench has a score of 1249, how much more do you want? Holy crap!
Why is the VPS with 256M of memory written to 425M of memory, which is exceeded? Remember what I said earlier about swap? Although the swap effect of SSD hard disk is not as good as that of memory, it is much better than HDD, right? !
