We are the second ones besides the owner of hostwithLinux to get Hong Kong KVM VPS for testing. From now on, I will conduct some simple tests on hostwithLinux’s Hong Kong KVM VPS. If you have anything you want to know, please leave a message. Of course, the price of KVM may be a bit expensive, you can also choose Hong Kong openvz from hostwithLinux, watch "hostwithlinux-Hong Kong/softlayer/1000M port/$2/256m memory/20gSSD/750g traffic"

Official website: http://hostwithlinux.net [Do not use QQ mailbox to register, you will not receive the email]

First, let’s get to know the VPS control panel backend interface of hostwithLinux, which is roughly as follows. Click on the red circle to manage VPS:

Then what we need to do is to install the system. I have marked the steps to install the system (in 4 steps) as shown in the figure below. Of course, you can also use the simplest method to directly click OS Reinstall to install (including Windows) , but this makes manual configuration impossible:

The first step is as shown below. The main steps are [1] Select the operating system [2] Change the startup sequence, whether it is CD startup or hard disk startup. Select one with the mouse and drag it up and down to change the sequence:

The second step is to restart (the image is selected, the startup sequence is changed, and a restart is required), no need to go into details

The third step is to install the system through VNC, no need to go into details.

The fourth step, which is also the first step, is to select NONE for Select ISO, that is, no more loading, and change the startup sequence to hard disk startup, because our system has already been installed.

I will use centos to demonstrate for you. There are Windows 7 and Windows server 2012 in the background. You can do it yourself!

Get a general understanding of the situation: The CPU is E5-2620V2, clocked at 2.1GHz. The KVM I used for testing has 4G memory. The above shows 3830M and 3967M swap. This is normal, and the system always takes up memory. . The second step is to test the network conditions of this machine through Japan, Singapore, London, Frankfurt, Fremont, Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. You can see that Hong Kong reached 63.6M/S, Singapore 39.9M/S, and Japan There are also 18-24M/S. Overall, the three nodes in Asia are great! The I/O of the hard disk is 326M/S.

Let’s try hard disk I/O again, it’s basically the same as above:

As usual, then come to the Unix bench to get a score? well enough? Medium looking!

Actually, these are all nonsense. If you don’t mention the bandwidth network when buying a VPS in Hong Kong, you are acting like a rogue, right? We directly found a game on Baidu software as a download speed test. Age of Empires 2 scored 8.1 points. Size: 452.1M. The specific page is http://rj.baidu.com/soft/detail/22754.html. It's almost 4M per second?

I saw many people leaving messages asking me why I couldn’t sell it. KVM’s VPS official estimate won’t be online until tomorrow, so don’t worry!

Find OS Reinstall in the background, select Windows 7 or 2012, then restart the VPS, then VNC, the artifact appears:

Do the rest yourself:
