To be honest, this is the first time we have encountered this problem, because we have always used our own yum to install various software. Then we got lazy, so we switched 138vps to Pagoda. However, we did not expect that Pagoda secretly filled up the hard disk. , causing mysql to hang, causing the blog to be unable to be opened some time ago.
Originally, the blog suddenly couldn’t be opened, and it was the Spring Festival. Our first reaction was that we had been hacked? After many investigations, we found out that the log file of Pagoda is too large, so let’s follow us to troubleshoot and deal with the problem that the hard disk space is full after Pagoda is installed on the Linux system.
First, use your favorite SSH tool to log in to our VPS. Because it is basically certain that the cause is Pagoda, so directly cd to the default web directory of Pagoda to start troubleshooting. If you have modified the path, please change it yourself.
cd /www
Then check which folder is larger and takes up our storage space
du -h --max-depth=1
It can be seen at a glance that the server is causing trouble, so we continue to enter the server directory and check which folder is larger and takes up our storage space.
I kept entering the directory and checking it, and finally determined that the files in the directory /www/server/panel/logs were too large and used up all the space.
Then, the next thing is simple. Just clear or delete the log file. As for how to delete it, you even asked, so just use the winscp software to delete it.
Unfortunately, Pagoda's log cleaning tool cannot clean these log files, and you still have to delete them manually. We recommend restarting the Pagoda panel or VPS after deleting the log files.
