windows check port is occupied

1. Open the console terminal

2. Enter netstat -ano|findstr "8080" (8080 is an occupied port) at the command line

3. Remember the digital PID in the last column such as 4684

4. Enter tasklist|findstr "4684" to view the specific occupied programs

5. Enter tasksmgr to enter the task manager, switch to details, find the program, and end the process
