Does Bricklayer VPS support the installation of Windows system (install Win system through DD)

We mentioned in yesterday’s article that by default, the official VPS host only provides Linux image systems such as CentOS, Debian, and Ubuntu. By default, Windows systems are not supported, but if we need to install Windows systems, it is still possible. This requires certain technologies. For example, in this article, I will mention using DD to install Win systems.

First, one-click script

wget -qO DebianNET.sh qiu.sh/dd && bash DebianNET.sh -dd “https://moeclub.org/onedrive/IMAGE/Windows/win7emb_x86.tar.gz”

We can run this script in the regular system of the Brickworker vps host. The WIN7 system is installed by default. This requires waiting for the tutorial time during the installation process. Generally, I will wait for about 15 minutes, and then we try to log in using a remote connection.

We can use the default system username and password above to connect remotely.

Second, issues that need attention

By default, we can see that the C drive is only 10GB. If we need to expand the disk, we need to expand it.

If the speed is not good enough, we can also solve the congestion problem.

Set-NetTCPSetting -SettingName InternetCustom -CongestionProvider LEDBAT

Restart the server after executing the command.

The default installation above is the win7 system. Here we can also change the image package. Of course, we can make the image package ourselves, or if we use the ones from enthusiastic netizens on the Internet, we will organize some of them here.
