Generally when encountering this kind of situation, I believe many people are at a loss as to how to recover the lost files, and will most likely use Baidu to search for solutions to the problem.
But everyone knows that Baidu is not omnipotent, not to mention that the current network routines are very deep. If you are not careful, you will download junk bundled software, which will not only cause a lot of software that you do not want to install on the desktop, but also cause the computer to malfunction. It's getting stuck, and even uninstalling it is troublesome.
In fact, regarding data recovery, Microsoft officials have already thought of it for us. It secretly launched a completely free data recovery command line tool called "Windows File Recovery" in its own app store.
This software is still very powerful. It not only supports the recovery of multiple file systems, but also supports the recovery of multiple file formats, including "video, audio, documents" and so on.
And it can not only recover accidentally deleted files on the hard drive, but also recover deleted files on USB flash drives and solid-state drives.
It is worth noting that this software does not provide a graphical interface, only a command line mode.
According to the official introduction, this software supports three data recovery modes, namely "normal mode, segmented mode, and signature mode."
The usage scenarios of these three data recovery modes are as follows:
Normal mode/n: Used to recover recently accidentally deleted files.
Segmented mode/x: Used to recover files that have been deleted for a period of time, or to recover disks that have been formatted.
Signature mode/r: used to recover external storage devices.
Although this software only provides command line mode, it is not difficult to use at all. You can recover accidentally deleted files through simple command syntax.
Command syntax: winfr drive letter where the deleted file is located, drive corresponding to the recovered file, recovery mode file name
For example: I want to restore a txt file in the D drive, then I need to use the normal mode. The command syntax is as follows:
winfr D: C: /n 123.txt
It is worth noting that the drive letter where the deleted file is located and the drive letter where the recovered file is located must be different.
After entering the command, press the Enter key, then enter the letter y in the following interface to agree to continue, and then the scanning and recovery of files will begin.
Finally, after recovery of accidentally deleted files, they will be automatically saved to a folder starting with Recovery on the disk corresponding to the recovered files.
