dedione got 2 different models of pre-sale VPS with 1Gbps bandwidth, unlimited traffic, and CN2 GIA network a few days ago (Original text: dedione - Exclusive: CN2 GIA, 1Gbps bandwidth, unlimited traffic VPS), yesterday afternoon Officially delivered to users, of course, after the promised delivery, these two special offers will be permanently removed from the shelves and will no longer be sold, which has been honored! I saw some children's shoes in the group regretted it, and some people were asking how it worked. The host CEO will simply make a review for everyone to see. I hope it will be useful! Of course, friends who are interested in the CN2 GIA network can take a look here: https://dedione.com/members/cart.php?gid=6
Update: The official line has been upgraded, and the access is optimized from mainland China, and CN2 GIA is no longer used!
China Optimized KVM VPS

2G | 3 cores | 40G | 2T/month | $40/quarter | Link |

Explanation, the VPS configuration used for testing: KVM-2048-CN2 GIA, 2G memory, 3 cores, 40G hard drive, 1Gbps bandwidth, Ubuntu 16.04, replaced with the latest kernel, and added BBR.
First look at the data in a series of pictures:
12 HDDs are used for raid10, and the I/O is between 210~270M/S. It should be said that the load of this hen is quite high. The official boss’s explanation is: This is the first CN2 GIA server. Before A lot of VPS users from the CN2 network in the Shark Computer Room have transferred over, and this hen is basically full (no oversold memory, hard drive, bandwidth).
One thing some people may want to ask is, if the bandwidth is not oversold, are you lying to me? The official explanation is this: When you rent a cabinet, the bandwidth contract is 1Gbps exclusive; if the actual bandwidth exceeds 1Gbps, overuse of bandwidth is allowed. Additional bandwidth exceeding 1Gbps will be charged according to usage! So why can’t users exceed 1Gbps no matter how they run? Because the hen limit does not allow users to exceed 1Gbps, and everyone still shares 1Gbps.
The situation shown by cachefly is basically in line with what we call 1Gbps!
There are several speed tests for China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile:
Data from multi-node PING in mainland China:
I changed the script and looked at China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile. I selected Beijing in the north, Shanghai in the central and eastern part, and Guangzhou in the southeast to test the PING value. The data is roughly as follows:
The speedtest script is uploaded directly here. The upload and download are roughly as follows:
The key to identifying GIA and GT of CN2 is the return journey; of course, some people say that the situation on the provincial backbone network before going abroad is not the same for all; the tenth hop went directly to Guangzhou Telecom:
For China Unicom users, the selection of this website is a bit inappropriate. It is actually a node of Alibaba Cloud, and the return journey goes to China Telecom...
China Unicom users, test on a new node, Guangzhou China Unicom’s DNS IP (evening peak time 21:55), the effect is quite amazing:
China Mobile’s return trip, I can’t figure out why Mao would do this:
I directly put an Apache on the VPS, and nothing else was installed. I tested the download speed and it was basically full:
Unix bench, single-core and multi-core performance scores are as follows:
