Introduction to solusvm panel interface, general understanding and use of solusvm to manage VPS

The main interface after entering a specific VPS is briefly described in three parts:

Part one:

Part 2: Reset the network and resources, which may not be used by most people

Part 3:

Settings: Settings for startup sequence, network card driver, hard disk drive, etc.

CDRom: generally provides ISO and other operating systems to choose from

Drivers: Drivers, select as needed

Hostname: Modify as you like

Mention: clock, sometimes the server time is inaccurate, it is very simple to click here to set it without requiring you to go to the server to fiddle;

Root/Admin Password: used to modify the root password

VPC password: Modify VNC login password

Network: It contains your IP address and whether you can set up rdns etc.

API: Not mentioned here

Statistics: generally the details of hard disk I/O, network bandwidth, etc.

There are two ways to install the operating system:

(1) "Reinstall" in the second part of the picture, directly use the official system template to install. It is the easiest. Click to install and you will be prompted to tell you the login password of the operating system. Remember to record it yourself.

(2) To install through CDRom, you must first set up the Boot Order (CDrom startup), and then manually install through VNC remote login (same as local installation). After the installation is complete, we need to return to settings and change "Boot Order" to hard disk startup, and then restart the VPS to take effect.
