Luxembourg merchant gcorelabs operates VPS, CDN, and independent server services in 31 countries and regions around the world, supporting payments such as "credit card, PayPal, Alipay, and webmoney." gcorelabs's Russian Far East computer room (Vladivostok, Khabarovsk) is located in mainland China Well known to users, the price is cheap and the effect is good! Next, we want to test several key computer rooms in Asia of gcorelabs. Today, we will test the VPS in the Tokyo computer room in Japan for a simple evaluation!

Official website: https://gcore.com

First introduce VPS:

KVM virtual, pure SSD, comes with an IPv4, access 50~200Mbps bandwidth, uses ispsystem's "vmmanager" to manage VPS, reinstall, restart, change root password, VNC, custom ISO (upload by yourself), etc. full functioning!

Some evaluation articles of gcorelabs VPS:

Hong Kong: https:// /38660.html

Japan: https:// /40256.html

South Korea: https:// /40653.html

Singapore: https:// /40382.html

Russian Far East - Khabarovsk: https:// /40632.html

Russian Far East-Vladivostok: https:// /40615.html

United States - West Coast: https:// /40237.html

This test used the lowest configuration VPS:

512M memory, 1 core, 20G SSD, 500G traffic/month, 50Mbps bandwidth!

I can’t guess what model it is with a main frequency of 2394MHz and an I/O of about 300M:

It seems that the bandwidth should be quite abundant, and the multiple nodes in mainland China are basically close to full:

CPU thread testing, memory reading and writing, and hard disk I/O are all quite good:

Look again, the bandwidth is basically full:

Let’s focus on the return journey of VPS from the computer room to China!

Return to Mainland China Telecom: The Beijing side takes a detour from the United States, the Shanghai side comes directly from NTT, and the Guangzhou side is the same as Shanghai, and then enters from Shanghai and then runs to Guangzhou from mainland China. I would like to guess whether the effect of Northern Telecom may be worse. This still needs to be tested and verified by everyone.

Return to China Unicom in Mainland China: China Unicom is the same, all are sent from NTT backbone to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. China Unicom’s advantages seem to be effective if using this VPS, but it’s just a guess!

Return to China Mobile: Take NTT to Hong Kong and then return to China. Originally, there shouldn't be any big problems like this, but considering the situation of China Mobile's international network, I'm not sure about the situation. If you are interested in testing it, please give me feedback!

PING test results in mainland China provided by IPIP.NET:

Departure from mainland China,

China Unicom backbone goes to Japan via NTT:

Move, Hong Kong CMI for thousands of years, around the United States:

Telecom CN2:

Telecom backbones go to Japan via NTT:

Guangzhou Telecom, close to full VPS bandwidth of 50Mbps:
