Simple evaluation of spartanhost Seattle 10Gbps bandwidth high-end VPS (AMD Ryzen9 3950X+DDR4+NVMe)

In November 2020, spartanhost added high-end products of the AMD series (AMD Ryzen9 3950X+DDR4+NVMe) to the VPS in its Seattle computer room. The default bandwidth is 10Gbps. After the monthly rated traffic is exceeded, it is downgraded to 5Mbps without limit. Traffic will be automatically restored next month. As an additional reminder, each VPS comes with 20G defense by default, and adding 200G defense requires an additional $4/month.

In actual measurement of uplink and downlink bandwidth, China Telecom and China Unicom can climb to 500Mbps, while China Mobile is much lower:

In Asia, the upward effect is not particularly good:

When tested, the uplink and downlink speeds in Europe are basically above 500Mbps:

The ping data of 179 nodes provided by IPIP.NET in mainland China, the effect of Telecom is obviously much better:

For the outbound journey from mainland China, China Unicom's backbone is directly connected to Telecom NCP (it seems not to be connected to China Unicom), Telecom is directly connected to NCP, and China Mobile is directly connected to US Mobile after adopting CMI

Return to China Telecom: all from Portland directly connected to mainland China

Return to China Unicom: Take level 3 directly from San Jose or Los Angeles to return home

Return trip to China Mobile: basically all move from Portland, direct connection to Guangzhou; Beijing direction, leave Japan and then come back; Shanghai direction, first go to San Jose and then come back
