henghost (Hengchuang Technology) focuses on its own Hong Kong data center business, including Hong Kong cloud servers, Hong Kong independent servers, and additional value-added services - Hong Kong high-defense. Although henghost also has data centers in the United States, South Korea, Japan, etc., this is beyond the scope of our topic today; today, we bring the measured data of independent servers in henghost's Hong Kong computer room for reference only. If you are interested in buying a dedicated server in Hong Kong, you can take a look!

Official website: https://www.henghost.com

The server CPU model I got this time is e5-2650, 32G memory, 240G SSD, and the approximate I/O is around 234MB/S. The webmaster habitually turns on BBR:

FIO test:

The default bandwidth of the server is 10Mbps. We use the speedtest.net China node to test the uplink and downlink. From the uplink point of view, it is basically close to running at 10Mbps, and from the downlink point, it can be seen that it is at least 50Mbps:

speedtest.net node tests in other Asian regions are as follows:

The following is iperf3 running in Europe and the United States:

The webmaster uses Guangzhou Telecom and directly browses and downloads files on the test server using Chrome. The speed reaches 1136KB/S, which is OK:

Those who like to follow PING can take a look at the measured data of 80 nodes in mainland China provided by ping.chinaz.com:

Outbound telecommunications, backbone network directly connected to Hong Kong HKBN:

China Unicom's outbound journey is also directly connected to HKBN via backbone:

Moving outbound, CMI picked up HGC:

Return trip to Mainland China Telecom: all are CN2 return trips

Return to China Unicom: Hong Kong Computer Room HKBN connects to China Unicom AS4837 and back

Return to the mainland: direct connection back to the computer room

Finally, I lost a Unix bench score, just take a look:

A rough summary:

For the outbound journey, China Telecom and China Unicom are connected to HKBN; China Mobile CMI is connected to HGC;

For the return trip, China Telecom is CN2, China Unicom is AS4837, and China Mobile is direct;

This kind of optimization is average on the outbound journey, but it is quite good on the return journey. Of course, this approach will naturally save a lot compared to the pure CN2 GIA of the Three Networks, but you will also pay less, right? So, overall, the price/performance ratio is still very high.
