In the past 20 days, some US CN2 GIA and Hong Kong CN2 GIA have suffered large-scale and long-lasting DDoS attacks, which have seriously affected line quality. In order to respond to DDoS attacks, merchants are not allowed to temporarily switch lines to other cleaning lines. Therefore, we may encounter high latency and severe packet loss when using CN2 GIA VPS.
Many users may have felt that the CN2 GIA VPS (including CN2 GIA in the United States and CN2 GIA in Hong Kong) that used to have fast evening peak speeds has significantly slowed down in the past half month, with high latency and packet loss. It’s also serious. The affected merchants include but are not limited to Banwagonhost, DMIT, GigsGigsCloud, and Rubik’s Cube Cloud. These merchants have currently adopted the operation of temporarily switching the CN2 GIA line to the defense line, so when we use their CN2 GIA VPS You may encounter detours, high delays, and packet loss:
- The tile mover: The tile mover Hong Kong CN2 GIA detours to Japan NTT, the tile mover DC6 CN2 GIA detours Europe;
- GigsGigsCloud: It stated that it did not receive any ransom information, but it is suspected that the attacker is closely monitoring the entire line. The attack stopped when entering the defense, and the attack resumed immediately as soon as it returned to CN2;
- DMIT: CTGNet GIA for Hong Kong and Japan has been temporarily withdrawn;
- CubeCloud: Use cleaning providers to clean attack traffic.
The following is the packet loss test of Hong Kong CN2 GIA. It can be seen that telecom packet loss is still very serious. At present, all we can do is wait for the attack to end and the line to be restored.
