We have tested the VPS of Hong Kong native IP and bgp lines of ufovps before. This time we will continue to test the Hong Kong CN2 GIA line to show everyone how the Hong Kong cn2gia line is and whether it is suitable for your own use. Let me remind you that ufovps is a VPS merchant registered in Hong Kong in 2015. Hong Kong company CR license number: 2582195, and it is also an APNIC member.

Don’t worry about the e3-12xx after the CPU has been virtualized. The main frequency is 2.0GHz. This time I used the top version of the Hong Kong cn2 gia SSD series for everyone to do the evaluation, which is the one with 5M bandwidth. Hard disk I/O is approximately 88MB/S:
FIO test results are as follows:
How much bandwidth can a Hong Kong VPS run in mainland China? Try using speedtest.net’s three network nodes in mainland China. Just look at the uplink and downlink bandwidth figures. The official one is 5Mbps:
Compared with the evening peak period, that is, during the backbone network explosion, it seems that the impact is not that big:
Other node tests in Asia:
Guangzhou Telecom directly downloads files stored on VPS using Chrome at the following speed:
The evening peak speed is almost the same as that during the day, with almost no impact:
Ping data tested on 80 nodes in mainland China, provided by ping.chinaz.com:
The outbound telecommunications route is CN2:
China Unicom is the backbone network that directly reaches relevant nodes of China Unicom, and finally entered the computer room of Anchang:
For the outbound journey, take the Guangdong exit and go directly to CMI to the computer room:
On the return trip to China Telecom: take Telecom CN2
Return to Mainland China Unicom: Hong Kong Unicom node returns directly
Return trip to China Mobile: they all go directly from China Mobile’s Hong Kong node to the mainland
Unix bench is a bit weak:
To summarize: From a network perspective, the effect of 5M bandwidth is basically satisfactory; China Telecom uses two-way CN2, China Unicom and China Mobile are all directly connected (Hong Kong nodes), and the optimization is in place. Since the bandwidth is still relatively small, only 5M, it is recommended to use it for building websites and making remote links.
